From spec to shipment in six gates

Spec definition

You send the rack or system power profile, ride-through window and bus voltage. We map it to cell count, capacitance class and ESR targets before anything is quoted.

Cell selection

Tier-1 LIC cells are shortlisted against your voltage window, temperature range and cycle duty — 3.8 / 4.0 V classes, cylindrical or prismatic.

Sorting plan

C/ESR dual-parameter sorting is planned so the module ships inside a ±5% window — tighter than the −10/+30% factory spread cells arrive in.

Samples

First articles built with your balancing, structure and connector options. Samples ship 2–10 pcs, each with full test data.

Certification support

IEC 62391 test reports, CE declaration of conformity and UN 3499 shipping documentation prepared for your lane and carrier.

Mass production

Laser welding, BMS assembly, aging and 100% final test. Standard lead time 4–6 weeks; custom first articles 8–12 weeks.

Yes. Air freight runs under IATA A186 with packing instruction PI 971. We keep per-cell energy inside the accepted envelope for air transport and issue the carrier documents with each shipment.
Cells follow the UL 810A route for electrochemical capacitors, and modules are tested to IEC 62391 methods. RoHS, REACH and WEEE compliance covers the supply chain, CE ships as a declaration of conformity, and automotive programs can reference IEC 62576 and AEC-Q200.
Cycle class is 500,000+ cycles on a 3.5 V to 2.5 V window and around 50,000 cycles on the full 4.0 V to 2.5 V window — lowering the working voltage extends life sharply. Rack integrators qualify our modules against a 15-year design life class.
Cell chemistry is rated −40 °C to +70 °C by series; standard module builds are specified from −40 °C to +65 °C. Cold starts at −40 °C are a core use case — wind pitch and outdoor cabinets run them routinely.
Every series string does. Modules ship with resistive, passive or active balancing, and the management board auto-balances module-to-module in parallel stacks. Board sleep current is under 20 µA for always-standby applications.
A per-module test report — capacitance and ESR measured, logged against serial number — plus cell-level traceability. 100% of cells are logged, so a field return can be traced back to its cell lot.

For evaluation, no — 2 pcs is a valid order. For production, standard modules typically start at 50 pcs; the exact figure is per product line and stated in the quote.
